The Manfreda Macho Mocha has been given the temporary name of Agave x "Manfreda", since taxonomists do not all agree on the acceptable name to use, however, the Royal Horticultural Society in London has suggested that the plant belongs in the genus, Agave, until the nomenclature is completely settled. This Manfreda hybrid is very similar to plants that are native to Texas Manfreda's and others in Virginia that are called: 'Rattlesnake aloe', with the exterior cells marked like a snakeskin that grows in sandy areas. The Manfreda offered for sale here very quickly offers abundant, offset Manfreda plants, and the succulent foliage is beautifully spotted with serpentine, random gray markings on green-red foliage and grows easily as a potted plant.
