Bradford Flowering Pear Tree

The broad oval crown of the Flowering Pear 'Bradford', 30' high by 20' wide, makes a superb lawn shade tree, and the three develops a hard fruit that softens late and is consumed readily by birds. The beautiful white flowers of the 'Bradford' Pear Tree appear in early spring before the leaves sprout, the symmetrical shape of the tree is highly desirable and responds well to proper pruning.

• The wavy marginalized, rich green leaves of the Flowering Pear 'Bradford' take on fall color variations (from yellow to red to reddish-purple) in colder areas, and this Pear is amazingly resistant to disease and sickness and tolerates a wide variety of soil types. The shape of the Bradford pear tree is itself "pear shaped" like the fruit in appearance with its wide, rounded branching.

Delivery Time: Deciduous Flowering Trees & Shade Trees are shipped dormant usually December through May, weather dependent, shipping within ten business days from when the order was placed, while in the current shipping season. The actual delivery time will usually be within four to seven days following the date of shipping by Ty Ty Plant Nursery. Delivery time can not be guaranteed, if a package needs to arrive prior to a specific date please note in the comment section of the order or contact Ty Ty Nursery by telephone during normal business hours.

Pruning Information: Pruning may be required on Flowering Pear trees constituting eight feet or more in size so as to comport with UPS Shipping requirements. For this reason, the Flowering Pear tree(s) you receive may not be the actual height you ordered due to it being pruned up to one third of the total size immediately prior to shipping unless you have made prior arrangements with us to ship the product to you by motor freight. Although you should receive the size ordered if shipped by motor freight, note that shipping by motor freight will likely increase your shipping costs.

Shipping Method: UPS Ground and Motor Freight if the proper arrangements have been made by the customer prior to shipping. Shipping costs do apply on Motor Freight shipments, not covered by any sales promotions.
