The Laurel Oak Tree, Quercus laurifolia, is one of the most popular landscape trees in the United States, because it produces a heavy shade when planted close to houses and reduces air conditioning costs during the summer. The brownish black acorns are produced on the Laurel Oak Tree in great provision during the fall months when wildlife food is very scarce for wildlife animals and game birds. The Laurel Oak Shade Tree is popular as an ornamental shade tree, with its pleasing symmetry and small simple leaves that are 2-4 in. long, and they are persistent until Spring.

Delivery Time: Deciduous Flowering Trees & Shade Trees are shipped dormant usually December through May, weather dependent, shipping within ten business days from when the order was placed, while in the current shipping season. The actual delivery time will usually be within four to seven days following the date of shipping by Ty Ty Plant Nursery. Shipping Method: UPS Ground and Motor Freight if the proper arrangements have been made by the customer prior to shipping. Shipping costs do apply on Motor Freight shipments, not covered by any sales promotions.

If plants are listed by gallon size the plant will be removed from container and have the majority of the dirt removed to allow for the best shipping.
