Nonpareil Almond Tree

Nonpariel Almond Trees need 400 extended (3 weeks of temps. below 45 degrees F.) chill hours in order to break their dormancy and to then grow in the spring. These trees grow very large and will produce abundant crops but do necessarily require to be pollinated by the Texas Almond Trees. The Nonpareil Almond Tree is extremely robust and can survive very harsh conditions. Nonpareil Almonds always grow with a tough leathery flesh encased around the nut which is always removed and discarded before the almond can reach the market.

Delivery Time: Nut Trees ordered during their current shipping season (usually December through May) are shipped dormant within ten days of the date of order, weather dependent. The actual delivery time will usually be within four to seven days following the date of shipping by Ty Ty Plant Nursery. Shipping Method: UPS Ground and Motor Freight if the proper arrangements have been made by the customer prior to shipping. Shipping costs do apply on Motor Freight shipments, not covered by any sales promotions.

If plants are listed by gallon size the plant will be removed from container and have the majority of the dirt removed to allow for the best shipping.
