Society Garlic Lily

The Society Garlic Lily is a clump forming bulb that produces flower stalks 2ft. tall capped by purple, lily-like flowers that smell like garlic. In Africa, the Society Garlic Lily plants are planted around houses to repel the deadly mamba snake. The Society Garlic plant is also used in the U.S. to repel deer, rodents, and other animals. The Society Garlic Lily plant has beautiful lavender globes of flowers that bloom 9 months out of the year. In the South the Society Garlic Lily plant is very often used as a border plant at the edge of sidewalks, since it grows only about one ft high, much like liriope.

Delivery Time: Perennials are shipped October through May and should ship within ten business days from when the order was placed, while in the current shipping season. The actual delivery time will usually be within four to seven days following the date of shipping by Ty Ty Plant Nursery. Delivery time can not be guaranteed, if a package needs to arrive prior to a specific date please note in the comment section of the order or contact Ty Ty Nursery by telephone during normal business hours. Our Perennial Plants are container grown plants, that will be removed from the containers prior to shipping to allow for the most efficient shipping method, unless Motor Freight accommodations have been made then the plants can be delivered in containers.

Shipping Method: UPS Ground and Motor Freight if the proper arrangements have been made by the customer prior to shipping. Shipping costs do apply on Motor Freight shipments, not covered by any sales promotions.

If plants are listed by gallon size the plant will be removed from container and have the majority of the dirt removed to allow for the best shipping.
